Both leaders reviewed current regional crises and the resulting pressures on global supply chains, trade flows, and transportation networks. Egyptian officials outlined ongoing diplomatic and political efforts aimed at containing tensions and preventing further escalation.
Al-Sisi emphasized the importance of avoiding additional instability in the region, warning that continued escalation could have serious consequences for both regional and international security as well as global commerce.
He also reaffirmed Egypt’s continued support for the stability and security of Arab countries and called for expanded cooperation with France across multiple sectors, including trade, investment, industry, and education.
Macron, in turn, praised Egypt’s role in addressing regional challenges and expressed hope for a swift resolution to ongoing crises that would help restore stability and peace across the Middle East.
