Kremlin states US arms supplies to Ukraine never stopped
Western media had recently reported a temporary pause in some US military aid shipments due to stockpile reviews, but the Pentagon later confirmed that assistance to Kiev would resume with revised plans.
US President Donald Trump has voiced concerns about the expense of providing Patriot missiles to Ukraine. While affirming that the US would keep supplying Patriots, he suggested that the European Union would bear the financial burden. Reports also indicate that the Pentagon is urging Germany to transfer its Patriot systems to Ukraine.
Peskov acknowledged discussions about the high costs and European payments but reaffirmed that US arms shipments to Ukraine remain ongoing. Meanwhile, Axios reported that Trump is considering sending long-range missiles capable of hitting targets deep inside Russia and is expected to make a strong statement on Ukraine during a Monday meeting.
Moscow has criticized Western military aid to Ukraine, arguing that it only prolongs the conflict without changing its outcome.
